Ethiopian Green Mung Bean

Known locally as “Masho”, Mung Bean is a recent introduction to the Ethiopian production and is grown in few areas of the country. With its green and thin layers, the Green Mung Bean and is closely related to barley and wheat.


Location Its concentration areas mainly include zones in North Shewa and South Wollo of the Amhara region and in some areas of Benishangul Gumuz region.
